I'm not a Hucks basher and never have been

It just tickles me when he is placed in a our greatest ever team.

A bit like when people vote for the top 100 singles of all time and 15 of them miraculously happen to have been released in the last 12 months.

Huckerby was our best player in the Premiership but that's not exactly a ringing endorsement. Ruel Fox was a player I loved and he did it for us in the Premiership, in a good team.

And Eadie was just a better player. End of story!

I would love Hux to finish with us on a high, I would love him to be the player we have all loved. But it's not unconditional and by taking a more neutral position on his place in the history of the club, that's hardly bashing - just context and a bit of realism (IMHO).
