Today's game...
was utter rubbish. We started off playing what looked like 4 1 4 1, Foz was immediately in front of the back 4 & got in their way, or them in his, no space between midfield & defence & all v. predictable (hoof). If Cov weren't sh1t too they'd have scored 3 in the first 25 mins. Velasco going off & Doc going to right back effectively took Croft out of the game too as he got no service from Doc or midfield - why no Semi on the bench? The ref was clueless - 3 of the 4 bookings he gave for the 2 reds were dubious to say the least. Cov players took to falling over if one of ours looked at them in a slightly aggressive manner & the ref fell for it. The linesman on our left couldn't make a decision until the ref told him what it was. We were rubbish, no mistake but Cov weren't a lot better, the decision making & passing of both sets of players was really poor - I accept that Marshall (& Shackell too late on) prevented a repeat of the Leicester match, Cov gave every impression that they would have capitulated against a half way decent team & given that we could almost have nicked a point late on with 9 men, without any red cards, I reckon we'd have had a point even playing badly. I think Glenn needs to stop tinkering for a bit decide what his best team is & stick with it. If it's got Dion alone up front again, I'll be getting worried about that last relegation spot assuming that Colchester & Scunny are going to fill the other 2. Best bit of the day was the announcer introducing the other stands to us: The Tesco stand & the "Sky Blue Army" in the Silly Twat Stand or whatever the echoing structure almost devoid of people was called. Second worst bit apart from the entire game was the moron sat directly behind me who yelled moronically all afternoon with his troglodyte daughter whining hideously in accompaniement.
