Just back.

Decent coat over the yellow that was between the picture rail and the ceiling, might need another one though - pretty vivid yellow colour will probably show through once it's dried off.

Yet another coat of Dulux Pure Brilliant White (Brilliant!) applied to the ceiling - I think this coat (the fourth) might eventually stop the BRIGHT VIVID FUCKING BLUE showing through. Who, exactly, paints a ceiling bright vivid blue in the first place?

I've been doing the ceiling with a roller though, so inevitably I've got little splatters of white paint over my right arm, face and in my hair. First person to do a money-shot gag gets my scorn.

All in all a pretty decent night's work, here are my ratings:

Dustsheets: 6 - bit too much movement underfoot, and under the ladders
Ladders: 8 - decent solid performance, got up well
Brush: 7 - Not spectacular, but you shouldn't expect too much from B&Q's cheapest
Paint: 9 - MOTM - excellent, really excellent performance, great coverage, was literally all over the playing field
AB: 8 Industrious, got round well, never made a fuss, couple of little paint accidents, but nothing that can't be touched up tomorrow

All round a decent solid Championship performace - if we'd decorated like that since August we'd be top 2 by now.
