no rhyme or reason......

my dads got 13 campaign and service medals from his 22 yrs in the Navy..... was torpedoed twice and on one of those occassions was one of 20 survivors, when 160 were lost.......

he survived all that, and now has advanced alzheimers and cant even recognize his own kids......

bloody sad!
