Need help with coaxial cable

You'd be amazed at the range of topics I've had excellent advice from WOTB on over the years, so here goes again...

Just bought a 15m TV/FM extension kit from the local Maplin - the shorter version of User Posted Link

This has a length of coax cable and two metal things that are clearly intended to go on either end.

I have no clue how to fix them on. I'm googled around and found things like User Posted Link and User Posted Link but the connectors I've got look different to anything I can find.

Basically, one end of the connector is a male bit that you would expect to see on the end of a coax cable. The other end has a screw-off thing which, underneath, has a sort of metal pyramid shaped thing which comes out. When it's come out there's a hole into which the centre bit of the coax wire is clearly intended to go. I can only imagine I'm supposed to somehow prise the pyramid thing open and have it bite into the dielectric sheath but really I have no clue at all what I'm doing.

Can anyone help me out/point me to a site I've missed?

MTIA ;-)
