If Damo was left to get on with his job he might have applied himself more in the latter part of the season.

I believe it was Finnegan who started filling his head with crap before the Man U game at CR, about how his career would be better served elsewhere. Damo then didn't know if he was coming or going.

All the quotes you've read about wanting away have come from Finnegan, NOT Francis. It's about another leech wanting a big fat pay day by touting his client round, and certainly not serving the best interests of his client.
