Eagle, Spillane & Cave-Brown?

Morning David...

Don't think Eagle is good enough. Lightweight, has beena verage at best in the games he's played. Seems to be an average midfielder with a left foot, but that doesn't make him a left midfielder. Don't think he'll be with us for much longer & suspect if there was "any hope" for him, he'd have had a run of games long before Glenn recruited half a team of left footers.

Spillane, I wish someone would decide his best position and let him focus on that. I thought it was centre back? Assume he is being kept away from playing in that position because he isn't 6'4" and weighs 16 stone! He could offer us something there, you don't HAVE to have two giants playing in the middle, still...assume the club will stick him in at right back for a week, central midfield another and he'll fade away as well.

Cave-Brown, well, here is hope-maybe in less stressful times he would have got some games this season, but, with Glenn's brief to keep us up, players have had to be rushed in and results gained with that in mind. Hopefully ACB will start with as good a chance as anyone else next season, however, at the moment, he is just another "promising" player, and we seem to have "promising" players for ever at the moment, without them ever going on to be more than that, the list of those that came previous to ACB is legion.
