As an aside, it is also *incredibly* disheartening to miss out to a player on the basis that they "might do something special". Yes, they might. Or they might do sod-all. How do you rate that next to a solid and reliable contribution? Yes, it might win you the game. But then again, so might the more pedestrian contribution.
