Terrible, terrible case.
Thought about posting him as "person not specifically called a Christian and therefore by reasonable inference not a Christian" of the day, but it was such a sickening story I couldn't bear it.
Not sure he would have been prevented from doing that by a different criminal justice system, though. He was just a horrible sicko. Whereas the toe-rags might have had different life stories if they had been firmly disciplined at a younger age when they stepped out of line. Who knows?
