This 39th Game

OK, here it is.

If they want to then the Big 4/5/6/7/8 can go and play overseas
BUT
they have to leave the domestic league to do so
and anyone taking part is ineligible to play / coach their national side for 2 years after the last Overseas Game.

It could be a great chance to weed out all the greedy, underachievers the game now so treasures. Look at it as a modern-day form of transportation.

Example -
Man UAE, playing in red & white
Chairman - Cuddly Ken Bates
Manager - Bryan Robson

Goal - Andy Marshall
Defense - Chimbonda, Rio F, Lucas Neill, Cashley Cole
Midlyfield - Dyer, Muscrat, Sidwell, Bowyer
Strikers - Ronaldo & Teves
