Yes but how old are you to know it's always been like that in a pub?

You back down or get filled, there's no middle ground

One night I was asked to leave cos it was closing time (the one everyone ignores till they're asked about 5 times) and one night a bouncer was in a bad mood

When it came to the second time, he was marching at me and practically threatening me "how many times do you need telling, move round to the other bar"

Knowing bouncer mentality you are in for a kicking when that happens, they'll gang up into 4 and enjoy it. I'd rather leave, he had a permanant scar on his for for a reason, I don't have any on mine

With that in mind, I walked round the other bar, I finished my drink, and went to him after he'd calmed down and said sorry. Well over the call of duty, but again, why be arsey with doormen when they're like a little family. If you kick off with them, they'll only get their own back there and then, or when they're not working and clock eyes on you

When someone working in a pub tells you to it's time for whatever, it's time for whatever
