There's definitely some Iwan style sentimentality creeping in here

Iwan in his last season was largely on the wind down, yet once Svenny got a go, the fans hated it, but Iwan just wasn't really up to the task

Eventually it was recognised that Svensson was the better choice, and Iwan cameo'd nicely and ended a great spell here

That said, how many times did you hearing in the next 2 seasons "we could have kept Iwan on"

That argument would have only washed with me if his Gillingham spell had come to anything
