If it hadn't been for Hucks last season I reckon we could well have been relegated. In addition, having watched consistently crap football until GR arrived, Hucks was the one shining light that often made a game worth watching. As regards having his say, well he only stated what we all knew about Peter Grant's squad and he was big enough to announce what we all knew. I think it's a real shame that he's not playing and like the Old Git, I think it's the only black mark against GR. To be fair while we keep winning it's hard to question GR but there was a time on Saturday when I think Hucks may well have broke down the Preston defence long before we did. He's far too good to be kept out of the team by loan players who'll disappear back at the end of the season.
