It is stupid..............
They talk about the NBA champs being the "world champs" but they say it pretty quietly because the US national team has has its ass handed to them in recent years at various competitions.
Its American media hype who wants everyone believe that the "World" begins and ends at the US borders.
Most American sports fans I knwo dont buy into the hype.
