Historical league tables
Is there an interweb site where I can look at the Championship table after (say) 30 games for each of the last few seasons?
Like many, despite my head telling me not to be such a silly boy, by heart is looking at the league table and wondering what's possible. I share the impression that the league is unusually open this year and that fewer points may therefore be required by the end of it. But I may be making it up and would like to see if what I think could have any basis in fact.
On the face of it, to make up 8 points in 16 games is not impossible, but it's a very tough ask. Just writing that sentence has, actually, got me convinced that top ten rather than top six is what we're looking at. But I'd still be curious to have a look.
