Ratings for today
Marshall - 7 - Took some crosses well, flapped at one, made a superb save from Ormerod near the end. Kicking was quite good considering the amount of back-passes he had to deal with.
Otsemobor - 5 - Looked poor today, wonder if he is nursing that achilles. Could have suffered with his indecision at times.
Shackell - 7 - Thought we was very good today. Didn't make a mistake, was brave and won alot in the air. Maybe he knows his place is under threat...
Doherty - 7 - Again, hardly put a foot wrong. Unrecognisable from the player Grant left behind. Is he suspended nex week?
Camara - 6 - Done well at times, and defensive work was solid, but the obvious 'hoof' to Dion was a little too regular.
Croft - 7 - First half, Croft was our only real threat. Worked tirelessly and caused their full back lots of problems. Second half he faded and lacked that final killer ball.
Russell - 7 - Energetic performance as usual from Russell. He is a far better player than last time he was at CR. Still frustrates with his passing at times, but the winner made it worthwhile.
Fozzy - 6 - Good bits and bobs including that surging run and pass to Cureton 2nd half, but was a bit wayward with passing at times too. His partnership with Russell is strong now.
Bertrand - 6 - Not too much came his way, but a couple of times he turned his marker well in second half. I feel it is a bit defensive at home with two left-backs on the pitch.
Dublin - 5 - Poor today. Even his usual clever flicks and passes didnt come off. For the first time, he looked old. Suprised he stayed on until the end (although glad he did as he did actually win the final flick-on for the goal!)
Evans - 6 - Worked tirelessly but not much fell his way.
Subs
Bates - 6 - Solid debut
Cureton - 6 - Looked more threatening than Evans had.
Henry - Did he touch the ball? Looking forward to seeing more from all the loan signings.
Overall, a poor performance but we dominated possession and battled for a fantastic 3 points. Much adulation at the end! Good goal by Rusty.
