Francis - a few thoughts
First of all, the crap about him being on "strike" was an interpretation from the Sun when they read that his head wasn't in it. Well, he may just have been honest and said that he had a lot going on right now not knowing where he and his family would be in a month, and was having trouble concentrating so could you please find out the story Mr. Worthington and in the meantime Hughesy could use the run-out.
Worthy gets on the blower and turns out there's no new interest - it's just his agent stirring up the s**t. Worthy gives his agent a mouthful, talks to Damo one-on-one and clarifies the situation. Damo says "OK, thanks, that has helped settle me a bit". Worthy decides to go slowly slowly and give him some time vs Inter.
As for training on his own, that's normal since he didn't play the night before (the only reason the others had the day off). Iwan did the same when he wasn't in the squad according to his book.
I seriously think his agent is causing all this s**t.
