ollowing the announcement on Thursday evening that Middlesborough defender Matthew Bates was joining to near the end of the season, Friday brought a flurry of loan activity on the wires with news of centre-half Alex Pearce and winger James Henry joining from Reading, winger Kieran Gibbs joining from Arsenal and an extension to Manchester City striker Ched Evans' spell that will take him until the end of the season.
Wonder if the office will be empty tomorrow?
