* Kieran grabbed the attention of Arsenal fans last season in the FA Youth Cup Semi Final against Manchester United. He scored in both legs and was unfortunate to finish on the losing side.

* He can operate in either central midfield or wide on the left.

* He made 23 appearances for the Gunners' U18s last season, scoring nine times. He also made nine reserve-team appearances and was named on the bench for the first team’s final Premiership game of the season at Portsmouth.

* Kieran made his first-team debut as a substitute in the first friendly of the 2007/08 season - a 2-0 win at Barnet. His performance earned him his first start under Arsène Wenger when Arsenal defeated Inter Milan 2-1 in the inaugral Emirates Cup.

* Like team-mates James Dunne and Abu Ogogo, Kieran was at Wimbledon but joined Arsenal when their academy disbanded and became Milton Keynes Dons.

* On September 10, 2007, Kieran signed professional forms with the Club.
