Quick and skillful winger who turned down interest from Chelsea to join our Academy full-time in the summer of 2005.

He sadly missed most of the 2005/6 season with a cruciate injury, but signed a one-year professional deal in June 2006.

One of the brightest prospects to come out of Reading's Academy, and he was also born in the area, growing up in Woodley.

Made his professional debut on loan at Nottingham Forest in March 2007. Later that month he played for England's under 18s.

Made his first team debut as a late substitute in the 4-2 Carling Cup defeat at home to Liverpool in September 2007.
