FAO Lincs Canary
What I’ve heard this morning has confused me a bit to be honest, no real definite info as my previous (and pretty reliable) source is no longer available to me as I posted a couple of weeks ago so this has come from elsewhere, but still someone who should know what is going on.
From what Roeder said last night in his interview it seemed we were very much still after Patterson but have been told that we agreed a fee etc but the Scunny Chairman then said they wanted more money – hes apparently a so & so to deal with (Billy Sharp situation in the Summer) – and the money they want is “silly”, so we are out
Garner is a player we like, no idea about fee but know that Carlisle broke their transfer record for him in the summer (£150,000 or there abouts) so we are turning our attention to him
We still want Taylor, Brum want a replacement first. Looks like they may have one today in Cahill, watch this space
We also apparently had “a very large bid” for a player currently at a prem club turned down at the weekend, still trying to find out who
