is near fethiye, but is a bit of a nightmare in high summer - too hot, too crowded. best time to go there is april/may or september. kalkan is near kas - i prefer kas, kalkan seems more 'boaty', if that makes any sense! i prefer kas, has more of a turkish feel to it and seems more 'real'.
