MARTIN TAYLOR - hardly Paolo Maldini
Let's be honest here. Taylor is certainly better than what we have got. By a long way. As long as we have a chance of going down, he is a good addition.
Yet there's been a lot of bulls**t written about him and in the grand scheme of things, he's merely an average defender - and one that's nowhere near good enough for the Premiership.
Is it not a co-incidence that QPR are the only team in English football who have been interested in him.
No Watford? Or Leicester? Or Palace?
And if you remember, he was at fault for a few of the goals we conceded when he played.
It's for this reason why Roeder is being extremely smart and not allowing Norwich to bust the bank for him. Fair play to our shrewd boss - I think he's a class act.
Taylor is decent enough but hardly the big saviour.
By each week he has been away from Carrow Road, he has appeared to become even better.
In my opinion, he is not better than Fleming or Mackay three or four years ago - although I accept we could do with em now.
