I can see the logic fully but

The problem is that the board has repeatedly shown that they have little skill in the business of sales and purchases. Even if we had the money for Tiny I still think they would have not offered it to Brum. I don;t think it is a lack of cash but poor negotiating skills when compared to the likes of Brady who is a real businesswoman.
