Good luck to the guy

Sorry to say however that I don't think it will bring in the money that is hoped for.

I think the announcement should have come when there was a bit more meat on the bones of how it is actually going to be done and at the time when it was actually possible to do it. I can't give my £60 today can I? By the time the everything including the direct debit forms are ready, people might have forgotten about it or gone cold on the idea, and we'll be a few months further into the year.

When you look at the number of families, kids, stoodents and such like, are 25% really going to dip in? Season tickets, away match tickets, travel, home shirts, away shirts, special editions shirts, food and drink, share issues, it all adds up.

You look at how miserably the Supporters Trust did in trying to raise funds a few years ago despite its own grand launch and when you consider FONCY is probably the most succesful group and in it's entirety has raised only just over £250,000, and it has taken some years to do that, I wonder whether such an ambitious goal is really achievable.

But I hope it is. I'll give my £60. If we all did then we could justifiably say to the likes of the super rich Turners that we are doing all we can and more so they should pull their own fingers out.

£60 is ok and I'd go for that
