My point is, we have spaffed more on failed transfers in the last few years than I can remember for a long time.

Quite simply, the thing is - what does a million buy you ? A Carl Robinson for 2 years, that's what.

This scheme would be a nice little boost, but it is not going to make any significant change is it ?

If we were in danger of going under without it, perhaps I'd be more positive.
