reading the article it seems a bit more than pub talk

it seems like pub talk that's been investigated seriously...

and if it only interests a quarter of us, that's still got to be worth something in terms of putting money into a transfer fund

and as for making a song and dance about it, well ok, it's not the sort of news most of us were hoping for, but at least it's got us talking about it and showing some signs of interest in it - it's all much needed publicity to get the thing rolling isn't it?
