FAO Creo (re Mormonism)
I looked it up because I realised I knew nothing about it either, and I can confirm that it's crazy s**t (almost as mad as Scientology).
Apparently they say they are Christians, but most other Christians say they're not. They basically believe that there have been other messages from Christ at other periods in History.
The most recent was in the 1800s when the founder, William Smith was shown (by an angel) where to find some gold plates with hieroglyphics on which told the story of some pre-colombian messiah. Of course, Smith never showed these plates to anyone, but he managed to translate the hieroglyphics and produce the book of Mormon, before handing the plates back to the angel.
Just like Scientology, what is incredible is that anyone believes cock and bull stories like this when they're so obviously the product of either a) a madman or b) a conman.
