FAO those who keep saying its not the end of the window

Of course its not, but more and more players are leaving, we are flying through January and we have more spaces in the squad to fill.

We are either -

not going to get these playersand struggle to avoid relegation

Pay over the odds for players - I doubt as I think we have very little cash for for transfer fees

Get players who were not first choice to fill the gaps (probably on loan), perhaps not being of the required quality and hence we are back at square one.

I keep thinking there is something going on behind the scenes that is holding transfers up.
