Surely most people will stay put

I don't know what proportion of the River End is season ticket but it must be pretty high and certainly is around me in the top half of block RL. There seem to be lots of kids in the bottom half of the block, just a few in the top part. There can't be much room to bring in many more. Going back to when I started on the River End in the 70's, it was like that, kids at the front, miserable old gits (in my case aged 18 - I was a natural) at the back.

I sit now where I have for the last 10 years, right behind the goal with an aisle seat for extra shoulder room, and I don't want to move, pretty much where I used to stand on the Terrace. There may be something in the post today from the club, but I'm not happy this has been dumped on us without warning. What's more, my seat is paid for for 4 more years.
