What is OF on about regarding Utrecht ?

You obviously mean nobody speaks English in Brighton cos Utrecht is university city and 99% speak extremely good English (I have spent a lot of time there).

However, if you want a departure from Amsterdam, although Utrecht is nice, Leiden (where I live) is even nicer. Check out www.leiden.nl.

And yes, they speak English
