It's been like that all week. It's the "page cache".

Funny thing is, it's only the top frame. Post a reply to a message and you won't see it for sometimes up to ten minutes, but if you click on the message you replied to, and you'll see your message in the bottom frame in the Message Thread section.

Also, post a new message and it won't show up, but if you go to your Your Posts page it'll appear straight away.
