On visiting an elephant sanctuary in Sri Lanka: "I hope one doesn't do a big trump as I go to wash its ear with a broom"
On thier accomodation: "It's as hot as a flea though. It's now ten forty at night, the ceiling fan is turned up to a million and the temple down the road is doing a really loud religious festival with clangy bells, fireworks and wailing with bald heads. My chicken masala tonight was loaded and I've got chilli and garlic seeping from my tear ducts mixed with some Kingfisher booze. Hoping for about nine minute's kip."
