We did...
but what I'm thinking of are the absolutely must-win games (I think the Bolton game was a League Cup game in the round before the quarter-finals?) - the ones were we go up, stay up or reach an FA Cup Final (which would be a new experience). I also forgot the Full Members Cup semi in 1986 where we could have set up a final at Wembley against Ipswich (although they lost as well) but we lost at the death after leading.
I reckon we've got to win a big game away one of these days - what better time than 20 years after the Milk Cup win.
