Went to the Col U game this evening

Must say Shackell in defence looks a bit slow. A big fella and good in the air but I feel he will be skinned by a lot of forwards. Thorne is rubbish and was lucky to stay on the pitch with a couple of very late challenges. You looked more dangerous when Huckerby and Ashton came on. Was impressed with Ashton. A very imposing forward and an excellent target man. Nice flick on for Huckerby to latch onto for your first. Henderson's cross for the second was the gift from a poor clearance from the U's and Ashton was waiting at the back post to head back across goal.

My overall verdict. You have a good attack but certainly lacking in central midfield and defence,.
