Sorry, you've got that wrong because the better players

don't filter down they prefer to sit at a Prem Club and take the over-inflated wages. As far as standard goes I agree that it's subjective but over the last few seasons I've definitely seen a degradation anf the FA Cup results would tend to back this up.
