Can't work out if it's in Bury's interests to have the game called off...

...bad pitch can be a decent leveller, although we don't really play the slick passing football that a dodgy pitch would hinder!

But, game called off gives Brass a bit longer with his players to prepare for the tie and also an opportunity for the rearranged fixture to be televised (Tuesday week?!) thus guaranteeing another £100,000 or whatever it is this round - could be a similar case to the Luton game last season where our management seemed convinced the pitch was playable but Luton officials managed to persuade the referee that it was unlikely to have got any better by kick-off...
