I think it's an excellent idea, and long overdue. The way you describe it makes it sound like there will be salivating pen-pushers sniffing around your corpse the second you bite the dust. The fact is you can quite easily say 'no', just as you can at the moment, and even if you don't 'opt out' your next-of-kin can refuse on your behalf (just as you can at the moment). So really there's very little difference. No one is trying to trick you out of your organs.

But then if I had my way no one would have a choice. Who needs a kidney when you're dead. Stupid.
