well he was injured most of last season

and the US open can be discounted cos he'd just come back. the other slam he played, he lost to nadal in 5 i think a year ago.

i'm guessing when he beat roddick at wimbledon in straight sets 2 slams earlier, roddick was ranked a bit higher. but hey that's just a hunch.
