You can build a better Championship team while getting relegated

and strengthen it further the following year.

Just because you're in the Premiership doesn't mean you have to build a team to try and stay there.

Last time we got promoted we brought in players like Helveg, Jonson and Ashton who were never going to stay in the Championship.

The key is to build a team of good Championship players and keep them once relegated.
