Did Roeder leave Newcastle on bad terms?

I was thinking last night that there will be a point in Newcastles current debacle where they will think hold on a minute, were we wrong to get rid of one of our previous 7 managers in 10 years, or whatever it is.

I can imagine them sitting down round a table and someone actually holding their hands up and saying I think we got rid of 'XXX' too quickly.

Having read recent stats the most successful manager for them of late is our very own Glenn Roeder.

However, having looked at the odds for next manager this morning he isn't even listed anywhere.

I'm not saying for one minute that I would like to see GR go back to Newcastle but, in my eyes, this is perhaps where they are going wrong??

PS - Why would Harry Redknapp want to go to Newcastle?? Ridiculously short odds on him going ooop North - why? He doesn't have any links to Newcastle, does he?
