Back in those heady days in the Prem

When we beat Bolton 3-2, it was (I think) their fifth or sixth defeat in a row, and there were calls for Allardyce to be sacked then.

He wasn't sacked - Bolton improved, seemed like a good decision to stay with him.

I think Newcastle should have given him more time.
