Initial reaction: bollocks

But that's because I've been conditioned by Grant's Norwich and Worthington's Norwich. You could've pencilled in a narrow defeat there under either - but though it's early days, there seems to be a lot more stickability about us under Roeder on our travels. Saints could have a new manager by then too: anyone else wondering if Adams' exit from Col is in preparation of him taking over there, while Burley gets the Scotland job?

Get a draw there, win the replay... and the prospect of maybe only 7 Prem clubs in the last 16 could mean a chance of further progress. Assuming, of course, we beat Bury - but FFS guys, this is the FA Cup. Depending on what happens in the window, we should have the confidence we'll stay up now - and a Cup run could provide real excitement and momentum too. Sod this resting players s**te: we're so overdue a proper run in this competition it's frightening, and I would like to see Norwich reach the Cup Final before I get to retirement age!
