I don't think Smith would have been enough to keep us in the division

We've looked so much better with Croft on the right than Smith in his strange Central-just-to-the-right role.

I'm sure he's a "great lad" as seems to be the phrase used for a young footballer who isn't a complete w**ker but he just hasn't really looked the part in our team. Definately the weak link over the last few matches.
