"Speculation continues as to the futures of on-loan pair Neil Kilkenny and Ryan Bertrand, both of whom threw their shirts to the away supporters at the final whistle.

Both players' agreements have now run out with Kilkenny now rumoured to be joining Doncaster Rovers from Birmingham City, while Chelsea are reportedly keen for Bertrand to continue his education in the Championship.

Sheridan said: "I've made it clear I'd like to keep both lads because they're excellent footballers. There's interest in both players and I'd love to keep them because they're my sort of lads."
