One of his guitars has 3 strings, oddly tuned. Apparently he was skint but his mate sold
it to him for $75 and then told him he'd bought it for $25 the day before. Steve vowed to keep it at the same tuning and never add a string, so that he could show the world how his mate ripped him off :-)
Probably a load of old bollocks but a good story nonetheless!
