What can you do and what should big Joe do?

Marshall is absolutely, undoubtedly number 1 and will be for a while yet-unless someone comes in for him and we can't guarantee that at all.

With that in mind, we can't just expect Joe Lewis to hang around to sit on the bench or play in the ressies-he's been first choice at a club now and has proved himself, and, joining Peterborough will be a graet opportunity for him to push on and get a big money move and a big club within 18 months-2 years if all goes well for him.

And our priority is to get in Taylor and Pattison. We need their quality and permanent signatures now, if we need to raise extra chash for them or anyone else, it makes sense to part with an asset which, although valuable, is not being utilised.

I hope we put a massive sell on clause in the deal, else a buy back option. But, galling as it is, Norwich are a club that brings on and sells young talent, always has been, and always will be-and, in a way, its pleasing to see that we are at least able to do that again, as its been a while!
