we've made more money in the last few years from buying and selling players like ashton

and earnshaw, than by developing our own talented players. Maybe we'll hit the jackpot with Martin (but i doubt it), but keepers are never worth much until they get to their late 20s, so it's not worth trying to hold on to Lewis.
