Given that it's your wifi details that you need to put in again, you can make it up as you

go.

That is, you can define your own network name, choose which encryption type to use, choose if the router announces the SSID (network name) or not, choose your own pass key, all of that.

So "still having the details somewhere" doesn't really matter.
