straight off
I haven't seen it, but I like the fact Sodje was said to be walking before the card was produced. That's an honest player, apologetic, who has made the wrong decision and can admit it instead of staying on the pitch pretending it wasn't that bad to con a ref
Carvalho's yesterday was the only red card yesterday that Dowd thought about, yet if you watch it a few times, it isn't that bad because the player got out of the way etc, but if you watch it a few times, it's just clumsy. It's still a red card but you can tell by the way he went in, his head thought it was the right tackle, but his body coming back from injury didn't follow through, so much so, the player on the receiving end could see what was going to happen well before it did
